Chapter 1.02
"He try to smuggle in a couple bricks of pot into the country; but you're all right?"
"Yes I'm alright thank you" her face is in a slight downward angle with her eyes looking up at his and a small smile to assure him. The officer satisfied that she is fine then rejoins his partner taking their prisoner away. Zi smile devilishly as she continues to the baggage carousel to collect her three black light weight suitcases.
A dirty yellow Saturn VUE hybrid cab arrives.
"Miss West?"
"Yes, that's me", she enters it as the middle age driver put her suitcases in the back. The inside of the cab is amazingly clean. There are barely any signs of wear and tear from usage.
"Where to?" the cabbie ask, after he enters the vehicle. She reaches in to her red tote-shoulder bag, pulls out a sheet of yellow-posted pad with the address on it and hands it to him just before he starts the engine. He enters the address in to his gps, and then put the cab in drive.
After about a minute or so, the cabbie trying to kill time by making small talk.
“Are you returning or is it your first time?” She smiles.
” No, it’s my first, I’m a little bit nervous,” while biting her lower lip.
“You have no reason to be nervous; you’re young and intelligent just like my little girl. This is going to be her second year there,” he said as he is making a turn.
“You must be so proud.” Thinking that is how she wanted her parents to be going into her second year.
“Oh I am I am” the driver repeating himself while nodding his head.
"She is going to be a lawyer, and you?"
